She's got her cute outfit, her expensive handbag, the gorgeous Instagram-worthy rosebush background. And yet even Mickey can sense her utter existential terror.
This painting delights me despite its anxiety. She's freaking out to the point that she's passed from anguish into absurdity. She reminds me that letting my own mind torture me with existential dread is absolutely silly.
Honestly this is one of my favourite paintings I've ever made. I hope she reminds you to take shit less seriously.
Painted on 24"x30" gallery wrapped canvas. It sticks out 1.5" from the wall and is finished around the edges with a wire on the back, so it doesn't need a frame. You can still bring it to any custom frame shop get a nice floating frame if you like.
