For some reason, I just started free-hand drawing this, and then painting it in without paying any attention to important things like how centred it might be, or how challenging it would be to paint all these colours without something masking the letters, or any of the other things that made this ridiculous little painting so labour intensive. It took weeks to paint, a splotch here and there, and honestly was an absolute joy to build up the darkness with blob after blob.
Does it mean anything? Uh, not really. Other than being a tv screen near and dear to so many of our hearts after years, nay decades, of that old familiar dun-dun.
Painted on 11"x14" watercolour paper.
Signed on the back.
